Edgren Eagles soar at the Greater Tokyo College Fair
Sixteen students from Robert D. Edgren Middle High School traveled ten hours by bus from Misawa to Tokyo to attend the Greater Tokyo College Fair on Sept. 11, 2025. With more than 150 U.S. and international institutions represented, the fair offered a rare and invaluable opportunity for Edgren students to explore post-secondary options in person. For students living in northern Japan, such access to a large-scale college fair is not only logistically challenging but also exceptionally uncommon, making this experience all the more meaningful.
Student journalists unite at Far East Journalism
More than 105 high school journalism students representing DoDEA-Pacific schools across Japan, Okinawa, Guam, and Korea gathered at Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan, Seoul for the annual Far East Journalism Conference Oct. 27–30, 2025.
